These Musiclily Pro ST-DPHA pickups are a great fit for Stratocaster upgrades (except HSS styles). I could elaborate on the warmth and aggressive tone, but I'm a firm believer that a lot of pickup output preferences are based upon the players ears and what kind of pedal effects they play through, if any at all. You will likely find these pickups to be rather unique, and are definitely a cut above many of the cheaper and some stock pickup arrangements. These also have the ability to split the coils which is a cut above many other similar pickups in this price range. The fact that they aren't wax potted out of the box doesn't bother me too much since I almost always wrap any one of my pickups in copper foil instead. My particular Strat is of the HSS variety, so I opted not to install 2 of the 3 pickups in it, instead using the Musiclily Pro ST-DPHA's for a Strat style kit guitar that isn't HSS. I also tried out each of these pickups individually on a Telecaster kit guitar in the neck position. I had to do a bit of pick guard modification for this, but I feel for the quality offered by these pickups, they can be nice additions either as singles or the trio of pickups in other guitars I may wish to modify at some point. For the functionality of the Musiclily Pro ST-DPHA's, I find them to be a great value for the money, and the price point is certainly fair and way under what quite a number of other pickup sets are selling for. Pretty much everything needed for a clean install is included, as well as instructions on what each pickup is and the orientation of the wiring. The Cream Body Black Rail option I chose has a very nice look. And I also like that they have other color options available as well. I've gotten a number of Musiclily parts over the years and always had great results. These Musiclily Pro ST-DPHA's are a definite must have for any guitarist that loves tinkering with their pickups and doesn't want to spend an arm and a leg. Great for guitar kit builders too! I highly recommend them to others.Five Stars.
