I was a little skeptical at first, but after installing these pickups I’m glad I took the plunge. They deliver impressive tone and quality for a solid value...The staggered magnets are the real MVP, giving my strat a balanced sound that suits many styles. You’ll hear plenty of sparkle without losing low-end punch, and they respond nicely to both clean and overdriven riffs.One small caveat: the included covers feel a bit flimsy, so consider swapping them if durability is a priority. Overall, though, these pickups are a smart budget upgrade—maybe not mind-blowing, but definitely up to the task. Solid 4 stars. Would recommend!

I put these in a strat project and I’m amazed at the sound !Well built for the price , and they installed easy.

WAY better than the pickups that came with the kit I built!They're pretty decent sounding for a such a value price. They are not high end pickups by any stretch, but are definitely on par with most beginner level guitar pickups, if not a little better.Super easy to install. I simply took a picture of the old pickup wiring and used that as a guide to remove the old pickups and put these in. Was done in about 20 minutes. No issues with them fitting into the pickup spots on the pickguard either, so that was nice. I didn't want to have to break out the rotary tool to open up the slots any.It's hard to describe, but the pickup covers aren't exactly a solid white...they're more of a milky white color. I would have been happier if they had been solid white.Overall, I am super pleased with these and as stated, much better than the ones that came with this kit.

These are good for the price. I've used this brand a lot for different projects and they never disappoint for the cost. These are good value. They come with a wiring diagram that's easy to follow and all the screws and springs you might need

I have a lot of electric guitars, and I have tried many budget pickups, mainly from various manufacturers and sellers on Aliexpress. These pickups are good quality, but compared to many other options that I have tried for around the same price or cheaper, they are fairly mediocre. The pickups have a somewhat typical Squier pole spacing of 50-50-52, and I prefer all 52 myself, but I don't knock them for that. I did however find the pickup covers to be low quality, they are almost a translucent ABS material that doesn't seem to last as long as the covers and knobs that are I believe made of nylon, but are standard on almost any Squier or Fender. These pickup covers have a weird 'glow' to them that sticks out like a sore thumb on an older guitar, so when I tried to swap the pickup covers, that's when the 50-50-52 pole spacing made it so I could only use 2 of the pickup covers from the old pickups. No big deal, but the included covers look super cheap, and they draw attention away from the rest of the pickguard, so I ordered a set of covers to change them eventually. I also am not a big fan of the PVC coated wire and plastic bobbins, any mistake with a soldering iron is usually more costly than having fiber bobbins and cloth covered wiring. The pickups fit standard pickup covers, just make sure you get the correct spacing. There were no issues getting the pickups to fit a pickguard and the pickup cavities, they are no thicker or thinner than any other single coil pickup I have encountered.The tone is clean and balanced for a strat. I have the ST-50s set from Musiclily as well, and this set seems to be a tad warmer than the 50's set, which seem to be a bit brighter and chimier. The signal these pickups give is slightly on the hotter side for vintage style strat pickups, but they sound great clean or distorted. The wiring was straight forward, same as wiring any single coil pickups. I wired these in with 250k pots and a .068 cap for darker tone knobs, which works well for these pickups. They offer the same versatility as any other SSS pickups, but have that distinct stratty sound with clean fundamentals and blooming harmonics, that you would expect from Alnico pickups over cheap ceramics. My only gripe concerning quality is that you can find pickups from companies like WAAAH and unnamed others for around the same price or less, that have vintage correct features and nicer pickup covers, as well as better tones and magnet options in my experience. Overall, not a bad set, but I have a lot of strats, and have tried many budget sets that exceed these slightly for the same value.
