Recommended for Blues, Rock, Classic Rock. Uncovered bridge 8.8K humbucker, featuring Alnico 5 magnets, sounds warm, sweet but slightly rude, with great sustain and a bright top end.   • Resistance(neck/middle/bridge): 5.6K/5.6K/8.8K, inductance(neck/middle/bridge): 2.2H/2.2H/5.0H. Tolerance: 0.5K for single coil, 1K for humbucker. The resistance value will change according to temperature and humidity. Usually, the resistance value will be high in hot and dry weather, be low in cold and wet weather. In extreme cases, the resistance value tolerance will be greater.     Not a bad set but nothing stellar either

    These pickups sounded fine but I wouldn't consider these upgrades if you plan on using them in import guitars. The one disappointing thing is that the humbucker is a bit muddy sounding. For an alnico 5 pickup, it seems like it's missing some high frequencies that I'm used to. Given that the humbucker is a bit muddy, it makes the two single coil sounded way too bright in comparison. At least the positive thing about the humbucker is that it doesn't have a weird mid range honk that some namebrand pickup from the 90's tend to have. Regardless of its shortcomings, this is not a bad set of pickups for the price.

    Great pickups

    This is a very good quality set of pickups that fit perfectly on the pick guard. I have not fully installed it yet because I already have a lot of ST projects in queue but I did test them as I do with every piece of electronic before committing then to a project and I can tell you that the ratings match the seller description and they sound very good. I can definitely recommend these single coil plus humbucker to any one upgrading or building a project especially if you looking for very good quality at a great price!
