Recommended for Blues, Rock, Classic Rock. Covered bridge 8.8K humbucker, featuring Alnico 5 magnets, brass cover completes the vintage vibe, sounds warm, sweet but slightly rude, with great sustain and a bright top end, work for many style of music from blues to classic and southern rock to modern rock
  • Polepiece spacing: the neck and middle is 50mm (1-31/32 inch), the bridge is 52mm (2-3/64 inch); mounting screw holes distance: the neck and middle is 76.5mm (3-1/64 inch), the bridge is 78mm (3-5/64 inch)
  • Resistance(neck/middle/bridge): 5.6K/5.6K/8.8K, inductance(neck/middle/bridge): 2.2H/2.2H/5H. Tolerance: 0.5K for single coil, 1K for humbucker. The resistance value will change according to temperature and humidity. Usually, the resistance value will be high in hot and dry weather, be low in cold and wet weather. In extreme cases, the resistance value tolerance will be greater.     Installation instructions not complete

    Wiring diagrams provided do not explain connection for the HSS set up. Installed but not working will have to revisit the wiring

    Pleasantly Surprised

    I was skeptical about these, but I picked up a beat up Yamaha EG112 with cheap ceramic pickups and decided to see what some cheap alnico pickups would do. First of all, they are, in fact alnico pickups. And they are, in fact cheap. But they gave my beat up Yamaha new life. Played clean, there is a nice subtle growl in the neck position, which is the one I use the most. I would say if you have a cheap guitar and want to get a bit more from it, these are worth a try.

    easy upgrade option.

    Great upgrade option. I've got a few fat strats that have cheap ceramic pickups. These A5s really are a big upgrade.

    Excelentes

    Muy buenas pastillas, buen sonido, buen cableado, bien empacado. Solo tuve un detalle y es que los cables del Humbucker vinieron invertidos, no correspondían al diagrama de la guía de colores, del resto todo excelente.
