The finish on these is very good chrome and the tuners themselves function smoothly. The fit is good on my 2015 Gibson Les Paul that previously had robot tuners on it. The automatic robot tuners died so I figured I would replace them with these locking tuners. I stripped off the old ones and fit these onto it. The length was good and the tuners allowed for good string placement. I put them on, lined them up perfectly and tightened them down using the nut on the topside. Then, I drilled my first hole to secure them with the included screws. Then - BIG PROBLEM. The screws they provide are complete junk. Don’t use them. Find some other hardened stainless screws that are the same size if you’re going to put these on your expensive guitar. USING JUST A SMALL 3 inch screwdriver, as soon as the screw met resistance - IT BROKE! Completely sheared off, leaving the stub of it sticking out of the wood. It broke really close to the wood, and I still haven’t figured out how to get it out of my $1800 guitar. Quality screws just don’t break given the reasonable amount of torque being put on it. Obviously defective, or just no good. Can’t recommend these at all.

I put these onto an Epiphone SG special, which I had previously modified to put some black musiclily tuners on.These chrome 18:1 tuners are slightly larger than the specced 10mm- I was measuring about 10.1mm. This is small, but enough to bind the tuners in the holes just a little if you're looking for a direct drop-in with no reaming. It turns out my old tuners were also .3mm undersized, so I had to ream a bit more than I previously had done to make these fit.Also be aware that your tuner screw holes probably won't line up with these, since the screw tab is in the middle of the tuner. You'll probably have to fill your old hole and drill a new pilot for this one.All that said, once everything was installed, they worked great. They have some heft to them, and the knob's knurling feels good. The tuners turn very smoothly, and the high ratio means it's easy to tune accurately. The usual caveat to high ratio tuners is requiring tons of turns to tune up initially- but the locking function negates that since you don't need as many windings.Overall, these are pretty great tuners at a great price. A great upgrade for a budget guitar.

I’ve used plenty of tuning pegs over the years, and the fit and finish on these Musiclily tuners is great. They seem to work just as good as the name brand stuff I get from the big box stores, but at a fraction of the cost.The Good: These were very easy to install and they rotate nice and smooth. These are a full-sealed locking set with an 18:1 ratio, and for the price, the quality is awesome. The nickel finish and keystone buttons look great. I like that they are locking tuners—let's face it, anything that makes string changes faster and keeps the guitar in tune better is a win. They do what they’re supposed to do and the sizing is on point.The Bad: Not much to complain about here. If I had to nitpick, the included screws might not be "super duper" quality, so you just have to be careful during installation so you don't strip them out. But once they are on, the build quality feels solid.All in all, this is a good product. If you are in the market for some locking tuners but don't want to spend more on something that won't necessarily work any better, then I recommend purchasing these. I wouldn't hesitate to buy them again.

Musiclily products have always been a positive experience for me, and these tuners are no different. They have a near perfect smooth shiny finish, thanks to quality craftsmanship and good packaging. Quality packaging matters, a lot of less expensive brands in this price range (and below) just slap their merchandise loose in a plastic bag and its all scratched up by the time it gets to your doorstep. Musiclilys gear is always nicely packed in a cardboard box that protects and gets to you in one piece.These tuners turn easily with just the right amount of resistance so you can find your perfect tune and set it accurately. I'd describe that as perfect functionality. They use a pretty standard 10mm size of mounting holes, so there's a decent chance you don't have to drill new holes in your headstock. I love that these tuners are locking for quick string changes and perhaps slightly better tuning stability, stability of locking tuners is debatable. Still I want locking tuners on all my guitars.Whats not debatable is that these are good quality pieces of gear, at a good price that you can afford. For a Gibson style guitar or PRS style guitar with 3 tuners on each side of the headstock these are a great choice to upgrade your guitar!

I’m fairly new to using locking tuners, but I wanted to give this specific set a try for my '34 Jumbo clone. The triangular Keystone style buttons have that perfect vintage aesthetic that matches an older style guitar while giving me the benefit of modern performance. Just like the other sets I've picked up, these have the "KD" stamp on the back. That confirms they are made by Jin Ho, which is a manufacturer known for high quality parts, and it really shows in how smooth and solid these feel.The functionality is excellent because the 18:1 ratio makes fine tuning very easy and the locking mechanism is incredibly secure. I was specifically looking for this nickel finish and the triangular keys to keep the period correct look of the Jumbo while getting rid of the headaches of traditional tuning pegs. The polish on the nickel is very well done and looks high end without being overly flashy. When it comes to value for money, you really can't beat these. They feel just as good as the boutique brands that cost twice as much.The ease of installation was a highlight since they dropped right into the 10mm holes with perfect fitment. Overall the quality is top notch, especially when you consider the price compared to big name brands. They provide great tuning stability and make string changes a lot faster. I highly recommend these if you want to upgrade a vintage style build without ruining the classic look.
