Wow! This sounds really good for the price; actually, it just plain sounds good. Really good. It has a lot of that round, woody sound Strats are famous for ("Little Wing"), but there's also a really chimey high end that is almost metallic.I threw this into a Les Paul (and I hope that unsettles someone out there) as a proof of concept for an experiment I'm trying. If I liked it, I was planning on getting some Golden Age lipsticks.I'll pass. These are almost as good, half the price, and hands-down better than any other budget pickup I've tried. I wish they had higher output, but whatever, my amp is happy with them (7.5 ohms for the middle, btw).

Incredibly low output. Like pretty much unusable. Double checked the wiring and it��s all correct. I guess these are going in the bin.

Was looking for a different sound, so I put this in the neck position in a stratocaster. Very interesting when out of phase with the filtertron bridge in split coil.

I put them on an epiphone SL inexpensive guitar, fun to play and now it sounds excellent!
