    great upgrade for an inexpensive guitar. locking tuners are the way to go.

    These tuners are extremely disappointing. All of them are stiff, and two already have broken locking mechanisms. They also look and feel cheap. While $40 is on the lower end for locking tuners, the quality is so poor that they’re simply not worth it. Do yourself a favor and spend a little more on genuine Fender locking tuners—they’re well worth the extra cost.
