Excellent pickups. Not sure what is the magic here (might be the alnico bar magnet, vs ceramic one?), but these sound MUCH better than the other much more expensive hum cancelling brands. I have tried quite a few different ones, but these blow those out of the water in terms of sound.The signal is very strong, a little warmer than regular single coils, but they don't sound muddy.The notes are bouncy and have plenty of "air" and you can equalize the sound to be cleaner, if you want.I was surprised how good they sounded plugged directly to amp, without any pedals.Than we have other advantage - price. The quality for the price in terms of manufacturing is amazing.This is my second set and may buy a third.I have a few remarks that are not reason to lower my star rating, which might help people who buy this product:1. Somewhat difficult to fit in the pickguard, takes patience and careful handling in order to avoid damaging the windings.2. MUST be used with minimum 500K or higher potentiometers and 1mf to 1.5 mf caps, otherwise they would sound too dark.3. If you want even brighter sound you might order two neck pickups, which are around 6k (to place one in the neck and one in the middle) and a middle pickup, which is around 9k, to place it in the bridge.That would make the positions 2 and 4 more sparkly.All in all, great product and you may want to give it a try. You have hardly anything to lose.I was skeptical at first, but now I am a believer.

One of the three pickups was defective, seller sent a new one right away. GREAT service. Pickups sound great too :)

I am so disappointed, I waited with excitement to try these out in my Fender Strat style guitar and the screw holes do not match up with the guitar, the pickups are too short and there is no way to drill new holes without ruining the guitar. Unfortunately I discovered this after soldering the the wires so I guess there is really no chance to return them. I should have measured first. I have a few other guitars, maybe they can fit into my son's squire. It's more work but they aren't going into the guitar I originally intended them to be in, too bad.

They sound identical to my SD Hot Rails installed on my other Strat. And for 1/4 of the price!! Love it.

I use these in a few of my Strats and I love them cleans and heavy rock sounds are all very doable they are quiet and they sound so good with any amps I use or have tried RIP your face off distortion that's not muddy and i have come to just love them compared to all sorts of other Fender pickups they rock and the price is awesome as well. Been playing and building guitars for over 50 years and dont kid yourself these are decent pickups if you want a nice quiet humbucker type tone from your strats
