Perfect match for Squier Affinity P-Bass

Bought this to upgrade the stock bridge on a Squier Affinity P-Bass for my daughter's Christmas present. Has a solid, high-mass feel to it and the screw holes aligned perfectly with the ones on the bass. Sounds good, and no rattles or strange resonances to speak of so far. Great value!Helpful tip: If the screw holes in your bass seem to be stripped you can use a slightly longer screw to secure your new bridge. Typically the stock screws are 1" but I used #6 1-1/4" screws and it made for a very secure and tight fit.

Easy swap on a Squier P-Bass - Good quality

Easy swap on a Squier P-Bass. The screws to attach the bridge to the body are smaller than stock. I reused the stock screws to install the bridge to the body. The saddles happened to be nearly identical to the stock bridge's but better finished. I was worried that the provided saddle length adjustment screws were too short on the E and A strings but they are ok. The bridge weighs more than the door hinge that is on stock Fenders but I don't think it makes a huge difference in sound or sustain. It looks better for sure. It has a good quality feel.If the bridge you are removing is set up ok, adjust the new bridge saddle length as close as possible before you install it. If the baseplate ok n the new bridge is thicker than on the old bridge, adjust the height of the saddles lower to compensate. A small Allen wrench is provided.

    A Nice Upgrade!

I got this to upgrade a friend's bass that had a bridge that was in pretty bad shape. This bridge is made way better than the ad implies. A definite upgrade over a stock Jazz bass bridge. The metal is thicker, so the bridge is more solid and has better sustain. Easy to install, easy to adjust, and works well.

This is a Perfect Match for the SX P and J style Bass Guitars

This is a really nice bridge for the money. I bought this not being certain it would fit my SX 2 MN Jazz Bass guitar. The stock bridge was way off on intonating my E string. I have two other SX bass guitars but don't have this issue, their setups are fine. This bridge is has a bit larger footprint and it's a comparatively more massive (weight) bridge but it is an exact fit. This bridge doesn't have the two screws in the front but the new bridge covers the those holes. The back five holes were exact and the installation went without a hitch. I just set up all intonations and they are now spot on. My SX P Bass appears to have the same stock bridge but thus far the action and intonations are right on so if it ain't broke, don't fix it.

Good value, make sure you measure

This bridge was a good replacement for the chrome bridge on my Ibanez Gio GSR200. Instead of using four screws in the corners, it requires 5 holes along the bottom. On my bass, the new bridge barely covered the old holes - so I had to be super precise.
