A while back I bought a used PRS Santana SE (my dream guitar). Unfortunately, the previous owner had damaged the bridge screws and the whammy bar could not be used. The knife edge of the bridge would pop out of the grooves of the screws and the front of the bridge would slam down hard to the deck, because of the string tension. I actually had to completely deck the bridge temporarily and play it like a hardtail. Not good. So, I bought these screws and replaced all six on my guitar. Problem solved. These look and function exactly like the originals from PRS and for the reasonably low price, they were a great investment. Now my floating tremolo bridge works exactly as it did at the PRS factory.If you're having problems with the knife edge of the bridge not staying put in the grooves of the screws, there are only two possibilities. Either the screws are damaged or the knife edge is damaged. Try replacing the screws first, since it's a cheap fix. In my case, the screws were definitely the issue and now that issue is resolved. If the knife edge is damaged, you'll need to replace the bridge. But don't buy it from PRS unless you just like throwing money away. Wilkinson makes an exact copy of the PRS floating bridge for a lot less money. However, the Wilkie doesn't include the correct screws. So, pick up a set of these screws from Musiclily and you'll be all set. In fact, the Wilkinson bridge with these screws would be an excellent upgrade to any strat style guitar that has that cheap import tremolo bridge that everyone hates. Needless to say, I really enjoy playing my Santana PRS, now that the bridge functions exactly the way it's supposed to.One last thing I should mention. If you buy these to replace your old or damaged ones, you will need to look up a tutorial on how to adjust the screw height so that the bridge functions correctly as a floating bridge. Perfect upgrade for Wilkinson WVPC-SB tremolo. Keeps the tremolo in place when floating. Making for better tunability. As well as consistent string height and pickup height adjustment. There is a reason PRS uses this style tremolo screw.
