Musiclily Ultra 4x28mm Stainless Steel Countersunk Epi Style Strap Button Mounting Screws, Black (Set of 10)

I got these to replace worn, often corroded, strap button screws. I had been refurbishing the originals but that's a messy, time-intensive process, and the results are only get to about 50-75% of the original appearance. All things considered, unless it's a bespoke, vintage instrument it's usually more cost effective to just buy a replacement.Two things I really liked about these from Musiclily: the black oxide coating was uniform on all 10 screws, AND they weren't covered with anything sticky or oily that I had to clean off before installing.Last thing: Make sure the pilot hole is the correct size - diameter and depth - for the size of the screw AND the type of wood you're installing them in.
