This bridge has a borderline premium price tag for something Musiclily releases, but I haven't found its equivalent. I was intrigued by its modern approach to a Telecaster bridge design, so I finally bit the bullet and purchased 2 - 1 to use on a build, and the other to keep around for another TBD project. The first thing is the weight. It definitely is a weighty bridge. So if a guitar's assembled weight is a concern, be it too heavy or even too light, you have to consider the 8.2oz it adds into the equation. For you, this may or many not be a good thing, depending on the end result you're striving for.The bridge plate itself offers a high gloss chrome polish on the bezel, which feels great against my palm. The bezel is also comfortably rounded, offering a different and more comfortable playing experience. The only thing I didn't like is the textured chrome plating on the base. I wish the entire thing was polished chrome. The textured look, to me, comes across as budget-oriented and cheap (which this bridge arguably is anyway). What I'm speaking of here is the metal base plate underneath the saddles and surrounding the pickup. It's an appearance I personally don't appreciate as much as the next person.Installation was simple since all of the holes lined up beautifully on my MJT body. It also lines up against my Warmoth Tele body as well. This is a 4-hole mount with the string through holes *behind* the mount screws. so this will not fit a vintage-style 3-hole setup. As far as tonal enhancements, I cannot speak to this as I've only installed this to a new partscaster. I did not replace a bridge yet just to see if I get more resonance, attack, sustain, and what not. But I can say that my Tele's tone is just as awesome as it ever was.Outside of all that, this is a very comfortable bridge for a Telecaster. I don't know which guitar I'm going to install the second one I purchased to, but I won't bat an eye over doing it. This is a great bridge for any Telecaster player looking to find added comfort and to get the added ability of fine tuning their intonation beyond a 3-barrel saddle setup. And yes, I definitely recommend. The 1 star was dinged for the textured plating - admittedly superficial, but something I wish they'd address later on.
