Musiclily Pro 12-Hole Guitar Pickguard for Fender American Mustang, 3Ply/ 4Ply

This would work well with shell pink. I think it��s a little too rosy for my needs. (Squier bullet mustang) see from photos. Any questions you can email me I bought a lot of pickguard trying to get it just right. I��ll say this brand makes a color called aged white which was exactly the lighter mint green I was looking for on another project. I��m going to get the aged white pearl. It��s a little more inkeeping with the undertones of this olympic white. Olympic white is a joke. I have 2 squiers and a MIM strat all in olympic white. All different colors. I hope my photos will help you decide. The undertones of the white on the tele are cooler greens and blues while that of the mustang though similar is a touch yellow. The strat pictured was refinished in stewmac vintage white and is a little brown/pink.

The pick guard is fine, does not fit a classic vibe

The color looks good and the body shape/fit is good (Duo Sonic with slide switches). Only a few of the pre drilled holes lined up with those on the guitar body. I put wood filler in those that didn't quite line up and then put new screws in. All looks good now.

I have to be clear- I did not buy this for an American/USA made Mustang guitar. I bought it for a Vintage Modified Squier. I have bought another pickguard before- from a company that stated it was specifically made for Vintage Modified Squier Mustangs and it was 3X the price. The prior one I bought also looked like the edges were cut by someone who was drunk & armed with a hacksaw. It didn't fit in the slightest (even after some dremeling, filing and sanding). It did have that ugly "Squier" dark tortoiseshell color, however.This did not and with very minor modification it fit my project guitar just fine. It also feels much studier that the original pickguard the guitar came with.

Regardless of what the description says it was off all around for my MG65 Mustang.
