They get the job done. If you need the cheapest locking, high ratio tuners available, these will do it. The finish is definitely not great, but they are at least consistent. The alloy they use is obviously cheap, but you get what you pay for. As far as function is concerned, they tune up and hold tune, so they get a passing grade. They install in the holes for a few guitars I have, and all went in and fit properly. Bottom line, if you can't afford much but really want new tuners, these will work fine. Better ones will hold better, look better, and won't be as sensitive to finger oils on the finish over time.

I build guitars for a living and I am always on the lookout of hardware and components for my builds. I go through a LOT of tuners so I am used to being able to separate the junk from the gems. This is a very good set of locking tuners, especially at this price point. The action on these tuners is smooth and there's no binding on the threads, and the lock on each tuner works just as it should. The fit and finish is spot on. They look good and they fit nicely in a 10mm hole - the fit is snug but not so much that you have to push it in. I'm not at all mad at these. Five stars.

They look great and work very well. the locking function works great and holds tight.
