    I used a 10mm hole in mahogany, and a 1/2" diameter shallow recess, to make sure the bushings are completely flush.

    Ho un basso con un ponte predisposto per il montaggio delle corde stings through ma che mancava di fori. Ho acquistato queste boccole economiche di colore nero come le meccaniche e le ho fatte montare al mio liutaio di fiducia. Perfettamente adeguate alle mie necessità

    Queste boccole vanno a sostituire delle altre di colore nero in alluminio anodizzato. Queste sono in ferro cromato. L'aspetto non è dei migliori, ma le dimensioni corrispondono a quanto descritto. Sono ideali per un'installazione a filo che, purtroppo, realizzata a mano libera con il trapano nel mio caso, non è perfetta...
