In reality, $30 dollar tuners shouldn’t be an upgrade to a >$1000 guitar, but this added so much more tuning stability to myJazzmaster. I’ve upgraded a few different guitars to locking tuners, and these are almost at the same level of other sets, which cost at least 2-3x as much. These are slightly sloppier, cheaper feeling, and lock the two different shaft heights that some have, but they are 90% there in looks, feel, and functionality categories. They feel slightly sticky, but that’s just a feel thing, they work great. They have a nice weight to them, they thread in easily, and were direct replacements. I’m very impressed by these.

Excellent upgrade for my telecaster. The original tuners that were on here never stayed. As soon as I got it in tune, they would go flat and id always have to tune sharp first and hope it would fix itself. Extremely not fun. It was time to upgrade to these and it was totally worth it. Now my strings stay in tune without falling out of tune and locks in place. They feel great, were a perfect fit, functional like tuners are supposed to be, and they look great. I guess my old tuners just had enough! If you are having the same issue I was, these could be worth a shot.

The Musiclily Pro 6-in-line 18:1 Ratio 2-Pin Full Sealed Locking Machine Heads are great!! I received the nickel set and they look beautiful. These locking tuners are for MIM/Indonesian Standard Series/USA Fender two pin tuners. Will not fit Squier brand or the like. They are super easy to install. With a 18:1 gear ratio it makes for fantastic tuning stability. I like the fact that they are unbranded and they seem very durable. The set I received, all six tuners are short post, which is awesome! The locking mechanism seems to hold strong and doesn't slip. And, they just look cool! They are available in right or left-handed, and in different colors, so save some $ and go get you some!!!

Like most Musiclily parts, these are decent and reliable tuners at a very fair price. They're not quite as rock solid as a Hipshot or Grover set, but they still hold tune very well and at half the cost.I haven't found a difference in tuning stability between locking and non-locking tuners, but the locking tuners are a little quicker and easier to restring. These have a 10mm post and two pins instead of screws, so double check that they'll work for your neck, but these should work with many modern style Strat and Tele necks. Assuming you do have the right type of neck, the post design is easier to install and more secure than fiddling around with tiny screws.
