Crap, they strip out internally inside the knob too easily.

I received my order of gold tuners today and was looking forward to installing them, but the covers on two of the tuners do not fit properly so they will not rest flush against the guitar headstock, and the diameter of the bushings is too small so they do not fit over the tuner posts. Returning for a refund.

Is not exact replacement for 1998 epiphone les paul special tuners,looks identical but mounting screws do not line up

I was very pleased with their quality and price. I used them to replace the slipping loose tuners on my old Lyle 12 string acoustic. They were the closest match I could find, to the originals. I had to fill the old mounting screw holes and used a wood template I fashioned to align all the tuners prior to marking and drilling new mounting holes. See attached phot! My old guitar has never sounded so good!

These tuners are poor quality. They feel cheap and perform poorly. They will tighten your strings and hold, however to make them function somewhat smoothly, you need to barely tighten the mounting screws. Wont be long before I change these out
