If I were doing a top notch build, I'd probably go for the high end CTS pots. They seem to have the most consistent range and feel. But that said, these pots are excellent and work well and I have been using them in repairs and rebuilds without any issues at all. Great value for the money if you are fixing guitars and if you give them a little blast of electrical lubricant they'll last a long time and have a smooth sweep across the range. Once nice thing about buying a bunch of 500k pots is that you can always just add a 500k resistor in parallel to drop it to 250k value if you need to cut some high end or use with a single coil pup.
