Musiclily Pro 8-Hole Guitar Pickguard for Squier Sonic Tele SS Electric Guitar

This Musiclily pickguard fit my Squier Sonic Tele SS perfectly with no modifications needed. The screw holes lined up exactly, and installation was quick and easy using the included screws.The 3-ply black finish looks clean and sharp, and the plastic feels solid with a nice thickness—not flimsy at all. It arrived with protective film on it, so there were no scratches, and once peeled it looked brand new.For the price, this is an excellent upgrade or replacement pickguard. Great fit, good materials, and a noticeable improvement in appearance. Highly recommended for anyone with a Squier Sonic Tele SS.

A good fit for my tele kit, and appears to be cut accurately. The black pearloid plastic has a nice shimmer to it, and the edges are well-cut. The kit I have doesn't have all the holes drilled, but the two that are there line up pretty well with the pickguard.Overall, it looks good!

I got this to replace the previous Musiclily pickguard I had on my 2024 Squier Sonic Esquire as I’m adding a neck pickup to the guitar. I know this pickguard is made for the S-S Tele but the pickguard itself is identical in shape and dimensions to the Esquire specific pickguard I previously had on there. And it also requires trimming in the same exact spots my Esquire pickguard did so perhaps it’s just my particular guitar.Overall it fits very well and the holes are in the right spots provided I do some light sanding around the neck pocket on the guard to adjust the angle. If I don’t, the holes don’t line up. Also both of these pickguard have required clearance around the control plate and the bridge. The bridge I expect but having to trim around the control plate is a pain.I’ve had tons of Musiclily products before and they’ve all been fantastic so I’m going to chalk up the issues I’ve had with my guitar itself considering two pickguards have had issues in the exact same spots. I think this pickguard is a good value, I’d absolutely buy it again even if I did have to finesse it a bit to fit.

Absolutely no reason not to give this Musiclily pickguard a 5-star review. A top-quality product that included the proper mounting screws. And it was packaged to insure it would arrive in perfect condition.I swapped out the original black pickguard on my Squire Tele. The cream color against the Butterscotch Blond body looks even better than I was hoping for... I was wishing it would help me play better, but it did not!Musiclily provides quality pickguards at a very reasonable price. They are a perfect addition for a guitar build where you can drill your own holes... BUT if you are replacing an existing pickguard, you need to look and measure carefully to choose the correct item. Just like most guitar manufacturers; Fenders, Squiers, and the many knockoffs have numerous models manufactured all over the world. Musiclily provides a detailed diagram with their photos. I would strongly suggest checking ALL the measurements and hole pattern before ordering.

This tele pickguard was just exactly what I was looking for. Normally I use a different online sales site for pickguards but I couldn’t find exactly what I wanted. This thing is exactly the right color of pearloid to mirror the black pearloid I have on my bass guitar. The 3 ply white/black/white is striking. I can’t comment on how well the screw holes line up because I’m working on a fresh body that doesn’t have pre drilled holes, but it matches up well to the body. The price is right and it feels durable. This was the last piece I needed for my tele build.
