I've always used tremolo guitars because I always miss the tremolo when it's gone. However, since right after I got my first real adult guitar, I've been growing apart from them and I was becoming annoyed with myself for buying another tremolo. This made me love my best guitar again. Practically perfect tuning with the most aggressive low E pull ups. Resting my palm on the bridge is a non-issue. And I can still finish my phrases with real unison tremolo instead of surfy neck and chord bends.I'll point out that this makes your tremolo much less dynamic. You can't have your cake and eat it too. It springs back into place instantly with zero flutter, and subtle vibrato work around zero is kind of blocky if you're paying attention. This device makes tremolo blocking obsolete, but definitely not the bare tremolo.I used it on a normal stamped tremolo, and it feels like a great compromise. Sticking this thing on a Floyd Rose strikes me as a waste of something that's very good at what it's supposed to do.
