Worked as should. Detents are nice

I use EMG active pickups with the solderless pots and wiring, but they only have A25k (audio/logarithmic taper) volume pots. I prefer linear taper for volume. Audio taper volume pots are like an on/off switch. Hardly any change between 1-6, then it suddenly jumps to almost full on, and there's not much change between 6-10. The included A25k pots are also very loose turning. These B25k pots have more resistance when turning, tighter but turn smoothly. With this and the linear taper, I can get much more precise volume settings and a gradual, more linear, volume swell. I had to cut the quick-connects off the EMG wires and solder them to this pot, one input, one output, and 2 to ground. It doesn't have as smooth of a volume swell as the B500k CTS pot I have in a passive guitar, but it's still much better than the A25k pots that come with EMGs.

If you need a center detent pot like is used on many basses, these work great.
