My tuners on my new Classic Vibe Tele were loosey goosey and I had gotten these for another project, so I had 5 left and replaced one on my CV Tele, wow, they are solid and smooth, accurate! More so than my Squier. I took the cover off and there was no grease inside so I put a little in..Be careful though, those little tabs can break off trying to push em back down on the CV tuners.

Better than expected very nice

despite having the correct model guitar for these, the spacing was too large for the screws that bridge between the individual tuners to reach. i had to purchase small washers to install these properly. once they were installed, however, they worked great. the tuners stay in tune and feel durable enough, and are significantly cheaper than the brand-specific tuners without a massive drop in quality. i run these instead of the name brand because of the value.

I got these as they were supposed to be an upgrade to the keys that I had on my guitar,a 1992 squire strat. I did not find out until after drilling new mounting holes into the neck that the ferrels were way too big unless you want to drill out the hole bigger which usually will end up with a cracked head stock. So now I have spare parts
