Musiclily Basic 6 Hole Guitar Back Plate for China Made Squier, 1/3/4 Ply

Great product. Had to drill new holes but it was for an affinity squier and things rarely fit perfectly on these. Looks great and great material.

Drop in replacement for the missing backplate on the Dean custom zone nuclear green guitar I just picked up. Screws were a little larger than factory holes but it all lined up and screwed down without any issues.

Others have noted that this back plate��s holes do not match their guitar��s holes. But with slowly increasing the diameter of each hole on the plate - I used a small diameter tapered reamer - you can align the holes on the guitar��s body. Reasonably priced and it looks great. An added bonus is that the back plate comes with screws and protective plastic that easily peels off when you are finished installing.

Works for my 1994 USA Peavey Predator. The 4 corner holes weren't perfectly aligned but close enough. There was no alignment at all for the 2 middle holes on the back plate cover. Like others mentioned, there's no beveling on the edges of this cover that you might typically see. Although not perfect, its good enough for me.

At first, it seemed like I won't be able to screw it in on the bottom since the holes don't align well, but I managed to do it without any effort, actually. Looks okay for the price. Check my photos for details. Thanks!
