I recently changed the entire bridge on my Fender Telecaster. The main reason was the I wanted individual saddles for each string instead of the 3 brass compensated that it came with. A problem I have, as do many other guitarists with a Strat or Tele style saddle is that these adjustment screws don't fit flush in the saddle - the stick up beyond the saddle and, for me, aggravate my right strumming hand. The solution is to grind the adjustment screws down to the height that you want and not have them protrude. This takes time, measurement, and patient grinding. You, like me, might screw it up, so having additional screws is a great idea, especially when your grinder shoots one across the room into that space where all the missing socks from your washing machine go. These screws are machined well, fit securely, and are easily adjusted with the proper allen wrench.
