Good items, I use them on my guitars for strap locks HaHa, they work great, never had a guitar hit the ground!!!

The dimensions are nearly identical to factory Sterling Ray 5. The screw appears to be identical dimensions. The string spacing is actually better than the factory as the strings are now closer to parallel than before.

When I used the exposed length of the screw in the string tree to measure how deep to drill the pilot hole, I realized that it would go all the way through to the back of the headstock. Glad I caught this before using it. I ended up putting six small thin washers inside the string tree just to get it short enough to use. Be very cautious, and always remember the rules: measure twice, cut once.

The string trees themselves are fine. They feel kinda cheap, but hey you get two for $6ish. The problem is the screws! They’re too long! If I had used one it would have gone all the way through the headstock! Luckily I checked before using. Overall these are cool, but you’ll likely need new mounting screws
