Affordable and Accurate vintage STRAT tone. You won't be disappointed!

Recently had the opportunity to test these out, and they’re a great value for a full pickup set.These Alnico 5s have that classic Strat sparkle with a bit more bite than stock ceramics. The staggered pole pieces help balance string output nicely. They’re not boutique-level, but for the price, they’re hard to beat. Nice upgrade for a project or backup guitar.

this is a fairly decent sounding pickup set. It has the brightness and clarity but also has enough output to drive a pedal or an amp. I would say the sound is a bit more scooped mid than I was expecting from an Alnico 5 magnet. If you're looking for a set with that Texas hot overwound mid range tone, this is not the set for that. The one star deduction is due to the fact that this pick up set is pretty noisy. It's hard to tell if the pickups are wax-potted or not. Even in position 2 and 4 (combining bridge and middle and neck and middle respectively), the pickups still has a buzz. This set might benefit from additional wax potting and some copper shielding in the guitar.

They sound good and I like the specs. The white pickup covers look pretty meh, but they work, so whatever. Know that it's a 50-50-52 set, so measure the old pickups in your guitar.
