The Gold Standard of Guitar Tone: Alnico 5 Pickups
Experience the ultimate blend of dynamic response, glassy chime, tight bass, and musical sustain. From vintage 60s Strat® chime to screaming PAF-style warmth, elevate your instrument with precision-wound Alnico 5 power.
Shop Alnico 5 Pickups💎 Glassy Chime & Crystal Highs
High frequencies are clear and transparent without being harsh, possessing a classic "glassy" quality and a "Chimey Bell-like Tone".
🥊 Punchy & Tight Low-End
The low frequencies are solid and resilient; when using overdrive, string bends remain clear rather than muddy, and palm mutes are crisp and precise.
🌊 Exceptional Dynamic Range
Highly responsive to pick attack: a light pluck yields a clear, sweet tone, while a firmer strike instantly evokes a natural, "edge-of-breakup" overdrive.
🎶 Smooth Organic Midrange
The midrange is natural and relaxed, with a strong sense of musicality—perfect for a wide range of genres, including blues, rock, pop, and jazz.

Great P90s. True Alnico 5 chime! I bought a Chibson gold top on EBay well knowing it was a platform for mods. The stock pickups were very lackluster. Swapped in these Wilkinson M Series Alnico 5s and the contrast was startling!

Installed on my Squier Japan ST362. I mainly play clean tones and this pickup set was exactly what I was looking for. It has a clear vintage Strat sound with good dynamics and note definition. Chords sound open and detailed, while single notes have a nice character that cuts through without being harsh.
