This "Pro P90-MHA" alnico 5 high output P90 soapbar pickup set, in black, hails from Musiclily. It's a neck and bridge set designed for electric guitars, featuring dual alnico 5 bar magnets and aiming to deliver the characteristic P90 powerful midrange and higher output.  This P90 pickup set has the classic soapbar look, and the black PC covers are neat. The construction with ABS plastic bobbins and nickel silver baseplates appears solid. The use of dual alnico 5 bar magnets and specific bobbin design points to an effort to capture that unique P90 tonal character.These pickups are engineered to provide a strong midrange and higher output compared to typical single coils. The neck pickup is described as sweet and smooth, while the bridge pickup is noted for its powerful high-output, delivering fat, growling chords, rich midrange and sparkling harmonics. The RWRP (reverse wound reverse polarity) feature for hum cancelling when both pickups are used is also a key aspect.The neck pickup has a resistance around 8K and the bridge around 11.2K, aligning with their described output characteristics. Polepiece spacing is 50mm for the neck and 52mm for the bridge. The package includes both neck and bridge pickups along with mounting accessories. It's good to be aware that the product information notes the included screws might not fit all guitars, so using one's own screws might be necessary for installation. No issues are apparent with the pickups themselves upon initial inspection.  All in all, this P90 soapbar pickup set seems like an excellent option for guitarists looking to achieve that powerful, midrange-rich tone with sweet highs and growling lows. 予定通り到着しました。品質が良く、価格も手頃です。音は素晴らしいです。パワフルで丸みのある太いP90サウンド。しっかりした作りで、質の高い磁石と美しい編み込み配線が施されています。オーバーワインドコイルにより余分なパワーとサステインが加えられています。以前の薄っぺらい、チープなサウンドのP90から大幅なアップグレードです。

Musicily really hits it out of the ballpark with these p90s. I put them in a goldtop LP, and to be honest, they sound fantastic. The color is also correct, and they very closely matched a vintage set ive compared them too. Very good clean vintage tones from these pups, which were easy to install. They have a good distorted tone as well if you are chasing a punchier sound. I have played them through both a solid state and tube amp, very impressive with them. I am sure there are better pickups out there, but at this price point, I think you would struggle to find better sounding soapbars. These would be a good upgrade for a squire or epiphone.
