These are high quality frats they're also big. They're very big and that's why I said. Please read. Make sure you kerf and saw those fret slots deep and wide enough for these frets. These will be bigger than whatever you're replacing in most cases and they will be deeper in most cases. They'll also be taller off of the fretboard than any frets I've ever used and I've done numerous refrets. These are big frets these are big frets and they're hard to file down. so if you don't get them slammed in right, I mean one trick I use with these because they're stainless is I just put the the first bunch of frets the first five frets I put on a vise and I filed them down specific heights like a very small amount like 10,000 each one so that they're slightly shorter leading up to the nut and then the rest of them are level and then the last ones I do fall away from above the 13th fret down. I just harshly file them down which takes a long time with a flat file like it's going to. You're going to be filing a long time. I honestly do maybe recommend putting the frets before you put them in the fretboard, put them in a vise and use a digital caliper to just measure how tall they are and those last bunch of frets to fall away. You can just do them, maybe with a Dremel or whatever. Your favorite thing is sanding wheel and just file them down that way cuz these will kill your files like these frets are tougher than your files are going to round all your files off and kill all your files. And you can't really kill files but you pretty much. Yeah, you wear your files down real fast filing these down so you might want to use like Dremel and sandpaper or something and gauges and just do it that way because it's a lot of work. It's worth it once they're in cuz once they're in it's just perfect. You got threats forever but these are harder and they're they're more hours like. If you're doing this as work for someone, you should charge a lot more for stainless steel frets cuz it takes about three times more of your actual bench time to use them first is like if foki gold frets you know soft softer metals
