FYI, these Chrome Single-Coil Covers didn't fit my Squier 24" Short Scale STRAT's SSS pickups, because the holes were a bit too widely spaced (52mm). The bobbin fit inside, but, the holes didn't line-up.But, I made 'em work, by using a twist-drill bit that matched the size of the pole-pieces, and, I widened the holes, closer towards the center. Everything else lined-up.You can kinda notice that the holes are ovals, now, IF you know what you're looking for, but, it doesn't look bad. It's good enough for my little Transparent Red Pawn Shop Find STRAT, that I paid $80 for! (It's from a $299 Retail "bundle"!)Anyways, these "Chrome" Covers arrived looking pretty good, not scratched up at all. And, being that they are plastic, they don't affect the electrical performance of the pickups.BTW, I put these chrome covers, along with chrome knobs and chrome switch tip,on a White 3-ply Pickguard, with chrome Bridge and Tuners. The White and Chrome color scheme looks great on the Trans. Red Body, too!So, after a little modding, I'm diggin' 'em, but, YOU might wanna MEASURE YOUR pickups, first... ;o)Have Fun.Peace.
