These tuners are great stay in tune very well. Had an issue with one of the sleeves not having threads and contacted Musiclily right away. They sent me a replacement with no issues after sending order # and a few pics. Great company to work with. Have purchased many parts from them and have to say I am not at all disappointed. Love every part I bought.
These installed nicely and look great too. Very affordable option to other higher priced tuners. Once installed, they held the tune and feel good when you turn them under torque. No binding, but I do wish that I was able to open them up to add some grease to the gears like other higher priced tuners. Overall good quality with a pretty decent finish for every day setups. I would buy them again.
Used these inexpensive tuners to replace the gold rectangular button tuners on my Firefly FFLP project guitar. I prefer tulip/keystone buttons on my LP style guitars for appearance. Out of the pack they were stiff. I removed the buttons and used a needle oiler to oil the button shaft and then pushed it in to get the other end to pop out a bit and oiled that end. Reassembled and worked them with my electric winder in both directions. They are now nice and smooth and hold tuning well. Just be mindful that the bushings are soft and will strip easily if you try to overtighten them. The gold plating is not the best, but you can't see it from a distance. Dinged one star for those two things. OK tuners for the money. wouldn't use them for a premium guitar but good for a budget guitar. I would buy them again.
I bought these for a build I was doing for my daughters first guitar. I gotta say I am very surprised how good they work for how cheap they were. IMO they are like a copy of gover tuners Ive had before. They dont have any play/looseness and the tightness can be adjusted there is a screw on the winder (for lack of better term). I cant speak for the longevity of them as I just bought them but judging from how they feel if I was personally playing live shows again I wouldnt be worried one bit about them being on a guitar I was playing live.
I put these on a 70s Harmony Flying V copy. They work great and look perfect for my all gold hardware build.Installation was easy, after reaming the tuner bushing holes to fit, the tuners pushed right in and I was able to reuse the screw holes from my old tuners.
