They get the job done. If you need the cheapest locking, high ratio tuners available, these will do it. The finish is definitely not great, but they are at least consistent. The alloy they use is obviously cheap, but you get what you pay for. As far as function is concerned, they tune up and hold tune, so they get a passing grade. They install in the holes for a few guitars I have, and all went in and fit properly. Bottom line, if you can't afford much but really want new tuners, these will work fine. Better ones will hold better, look better, and won't be as sensitive to finger oils on the finish over time.
