Select the String Spacing of Your Guitar
Tips
E-E string spacing is one of the important parameters for guitar bridge installation. It can be checked in several locations. The factors determining the E-E string distance include the bridge base plate and the block (string holes), as well as the bridge itself. The most convenient measurement location is at the intonation screws (length adjustment screw).

🔍 How to Select the Block Hight?
Block Height | Ideal Body Thickness | Compatible Guitar Models | Key Application Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
38mm – 40mm (Thin Bodies) | Squier Affinity, Squier Bullet, Fender Junior Series, thin-body Strat copies | Fits thinner guitar bodies without protruding past the rear cavity cover. | |
Custom / Non-standard | Specific MIJ / MIK models, custom bodies with thick finishes | Ideal for precision mods requiring extra clearance under the rear cavity plate. | |
44.5mm (1-3/4") (Full-thickness) | Fender USA (American Pro/Std), Fender Player (Mex), Squier Classic Vibe (CV) | Standard spec for full-depth bodies; offers maximum mass and sustain. |
