I installed it on Yamaha TRBX174 with little mod

I installed it on my Yamaha TRBX174 bass. It sounds great but neck pickup tad bit smaller and bridge pickup little bit bigger. The neck pickup installed without adjustment but adjustment screw little bit slanted, but adjustments are okay. The bridge pickup dimension is almost the same, but stock pickup has rounded corner, but this one is just square. I had to file the corner to make it fit. Even though it is excellent quality pickup and sounds great. Now it is par with Fender Jazz bass with noiseless pickup. I gave it 5 stars despite all the hassles I had during installation because of the quality and good sounds.

    Great Set of Pickups!

This Musiclily Pro PJB-6070S Alnico 5 Single Coil Neck Bridge Pickup Set for PJ Bass work great!First of all, if you know Musiclily then you know the standard quality of their product line. I've never been unhappy with a Musiclily product, and I have quite a few.I make a lot of custom bass guitars and found this to be a really solid pickup set for them. They work exactly as you would expect them to and they have a pretty good tone as well. They show no signs of finish defects.I've always been very happy with the Musiclily products, and these pickups are certainly a good option.

They work surprisingly well! Great alternative to high cost pickups.

A few things first. I bought these pickups because: at first my bass started making a "crackling" sound whenever I touched the bridge pick up volume. So I thought it was my wiring harness. So, I first ordered a solderless wiring harness from Gunstreet dot com (no I don't work for them or make money for mentioning Gunstreet), and I thought that would be it (really good quality, way better than the original cheap wire harness, but then I found out that my bridge pick up was out, no longer worked. So, since I spent about $63 on the wiring harness. I didn't want to spend too much on name brand pickups. I looked for used, new, and decided to try out these Musically Pro PJB 6070S 10.5k/7.9k pickups. Since these are/were hotter than my original pickups on my TR Ibanez, I took a chance. After installation, I was amazed, at the sound. These pickups are actually really good sounding the Precision pickups on the neck are nice and hot the sound is amazing! The Jazz side, is nice and smooth, exactly what I expected from some high dollar pickups. I'm so glad I tried these out. I highly recommend these, but do yourself a favor, if you have a low grade wiring harness, get yourself a new wiring harness, you will be amazed how that mixed with these pickups will improve your bass sound, for less than $100.00, less than name brand pickups! I highly recommend it!
