I haven’t soldered this in yet but as far as presentation it’s spot on! Very impressed.

I had to extend a few wires for what I wanted to do . But for my Strat-Stang Project it made things so much easier and sounds great.Oh and I had to do a pickguard swap. Because obviously its not a strat body.

While this is not a bad pickup set for the price, I find that the humbuckers are a bit muddy sounding. They seem be be missing some treble frequencies that I’m used to with Alnico 5 magnets. At the very least, the pickups don’t have any weird spikes in mid frequencies that made it sound like a wah pedal is on. A few things I’m disappointed about. First, the set doesn’t include a push-pull pot to coil tap the pickups. Both humbuckers have 4 conductor wires so you can coil tap them later on if you so choose. You’ll just have to provide your own switching hardware. Second, the pots seem to have a wide margin of error. I measure the resistance of these pots to be 300k when they were suppose to be closer to 500k. It is possible that the lack of high frequencies could be attributed to the lower resistance value of the pots. Nevertheless, this is not a bad set for the price and I would still recommend them.

Pickups sound amazing, installation was easy although some new screw holes had to be drilled to line up, and I had to chisel small cavities in the neck humbucker position to fit the pickups. Highly recommend

Looks great and works great. Fits very well and produces fine sound quality. Easy to use. Good value.
