    Solid fret caul with one huge drawback with set screws

    So this caul is very nice for setting frets. I'm not a professional, just a person making my own guitar. The piece itself is nice, however the brass set screws are terrible. One already sheered off, but fortunately I was able to get a replacement (M4 size worked for me). I can see using this with either a hammer or using it with the drill press though the drill press worked best for me so far.

    気をつけて

    ハンマーで打ち付けた瞬間にジャンプして指板を傷つけてしまいました。しっかり押さえて一打ごとにフレットから外れてないか確認しながら打ち付けてください。これはプレスで使うのが正解かな。

    真鍮のネジ以外はステンレスなので末永く使えそう！試しにフレット浮きが出ているギターに使ってみたらすんなり浮きがおさまりました。フレットに合ったフレットプレスカウルが必要ですが、わりとRのフラット系が好きなので３～4個買えば済みそうです。
