    Poor Quality Control

One of the knobs will not fit properly on a 1/4" solid shaft CTS pot because of large burrs within the hole - poor machine work. So I bought a second set and they fit ok. The center holes are not aligned perfectly straight so there is a slight wobble when the knob is turned. Nice gold finish on the top and sides and the allen set screw seems to work fine. I bought these because of the locator dimple on top but the typical knobs that I buy from a luthier supply are much better quality. Sending the first set back. Time will tell if I decide to keep these on the guitar or replace them with the nicer ones that I have that lack a locator dimple.Made in China... What was I thinking?

    Dimensions are wrong

The images in the product description shows the height as 18mm from the bottom of the knob to the top of the knurling - not to the top of the knob. In fact, the correct dimension for knurling portion is ~13.5mm. The knob is about 18mm to the very top. The diameter is correct as illustrated: ~18mm.The product was nicely packages as a vacuum wrap on a cardboard card - protected but with no wasted boxes, etc., and it included the Allen key and a pick. I'm sure they are fine knobs, but I bough thee specifically because of the illustrated dimensions.

One of the set screws was stripped the day I got it.

Never able to even tighten on to the post.

    Exactly what I needed

After installing a Tone Monster preamp in my bass and replacing the original potentiometers, I decided I wanted to replace the original knobs as well (which were crude push-on knobs without screws or indicators.) My preamp has volume and blend pots with a stacked EQ concentric pot, and these knobs are perfect for the former two. You can see them in the video. Knurled surface feels great and the indicators allow for more precise adjustment.

    Buone

Non le ho ancora montate sulla chitarra che sto costruendo, ma solo testate per vedere il risultato. Fanno la loro figura e non hanno nulla da invidiare a prodotti ben pi costosi.
