The intonation is difficult to set due to the set screws having to be wound too far in. The bridge then become unstable and pivots on the posts. It looks terrible when it's in situ due to the posts being a different thread to the originals and not a tight fit in the post holes. I've gone back to the original. Not happy!

Its a good quality product. It solved my issues with a tailpeice on a guitar breaking strings. My setup is somewhat cheating in that I kept the original bridge in place. An optimum use would require fine precision drilling into the pegs/ posts. I couldn't be bothered; slight tilt angle - works fine. Very pleased with this purchase.

Not installed yet, still need to re-paint the guitar. Bridge feels ok, decent weight and solid feel. Comes in a nice padded box. Downside is the chrome... is spots you can see debris under the finish and bumpy. Stud/posts a bit scuffed inside, not sure if also poor finish or if this was a return though seal seemed intact. Going on an old KAY SG otherwise if bought for something like a Gibson, I'd return it and grab a Gotoh.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:Non of the others on Amazon worked.... I used my original post and put this on and put the post that came with it in the drawer...my Gibson sg special is so much better than it was with the lighting wraparound... This bridge is awesome!!!!
