This is another good quality, affordable guitar accessory from Musiclily. The bridge is one way rather than two way – meaning the pitch of the strings can be lowered but not raised as with two way. One way tremolos are easier to set up and in my experience hold the tuning better than two way.The block is good quality – solid brass – and the fixings, including springs, are all included. The tremolo arm is the push-in type rather than screw in, which means a small hex grub screw must be lightly tightened (hex key included) to prevent the arm from dropping out.The bridge is designed to fit a standard Fender Strat or Squier Strat, and is available in three finishes – black, chrome or gold.The quality and function appear equal to the Squier model bridge, so although it may not be necessarily an upgrade it will certainly serve as an affordable customising project if a colour change, or swap from a screw-in to push-in arm is required.

Musiclily Ultra 52.5mm(2-1/16 inch) American Vintage Style 6-Screw ST Tremolo Bridge with Steel Bent Saddles 42mm Solid Brass Block,Firstly before purchasing i would measure the thickness of the body and opening for the brass block to fit. I have three stratocasters all have a different thickness with the Squier being around 4.2 cm. The Fender on the other hand the thickness was 4.5cm with the Stratocaster copy i have it was a cheap one as it was my very first guitar the body was a little thicker than the fender at 4.7cm.This will fit any stratocaster with a thickness of 4.5cm or thicker the thinner body the brass would stick out from the bottom.With this tremolo i wanted to upgrade my first guitar of which the hardware needs replacing in order for it to work properly again.The thing i noticed with the old one is the small zinc block which doesn't have any weight in comparison to the Musiclily brass block so this will make your guitar heavier.you get all the hardware needed in order to upgrade or complete a new build if needed. The hardware within the packaging i felt was quite high in quality.The gold was more like a vintage gold so lightly off colour a bit yellowish which personally i didn't mind at all on a sunburst guitar it looked the real deal.Once setup the performance of the tremolo was good i could tell straight away the sustain was alot better the sound was more warm and had depth in comparison to the cheap zinc block.Tuning was always an issue with a tremolo system especially with a cheap tremolo from the 90s this was by far the most improved with the guitar staying in tune alot better than before.Overall this is a easy and common upgrade you could do to a guitar, ive used Musiclily for all the upgrade generally because there affordable and the guitar isn't expensive it sentimental as its my guitar i received as a kid and these are the most affordable yet good quality parts to give life back into the instrument again.
