Assemble with some quality.047 caps, treble bleed, pots,switch, shielding and a good set up. These pups sound as good as anything I've paid $$$ for.Don't be brainwashed by the names on labels. For example there is an amazing number of affordable effects pedal clones and quality guitar bits out there! Experiment and experience the industry from outside the big 3 snobosphere 😒 Plus guitar manufacturing has really evolved over the 50 plus years. Installed these in a 2024 Squire Strat, in neck and middle position, with a musiclily 13.2k alnico hot rail pickup in the bridge. Fantastic upgrade, sounds great, I'd be surprised if these weren't made to the same specs as the fender tex mex alnico pickups. Great value-

For the price it delivers a great strat tone. I installed on a road worn fender strat that comes with Texas specials. I find it works well in this arrangement.

Put them in a cheap squire Strat. It nolonger sounds like a cheap squire Strat. Excellent Strat tones.

Okay, but other brands of equal cheapness sound way better. Like Lamsam and Maxcheer. Update. Pickup came defective. copper wire was unraveling and was hidden under pickup cover. too late to return. win some lose some! They might sound good if you get one not broken!
