The pickguard looks nice, but it does NOT fit an MIJ Jaguar.

The description needs to be edited to include what year Japanese Jaguars this is intended for. The way the description reads now is that it will fit all Japanese Jaguar guitars, which is false. The top section that fits between the neck and the top control plate is too thick to fit older CIJ Jaguars. It looks like the rest might line up correctly but it's impossible to know until you shave down the afore mentioned section.It looks like this fits for other people with 2002 and newer guitars. My jaguar is a 1997 CIJ model for reference. I highly doubt this would fit MIJ guitars either as they should be the same dimensions as the older CIJ models.All that being said, the guard itself seems to be of quality and it includes shielding and a new set of screws which is nice. That's the only reason I'm not giving this 1 star. In the end it doesn't matter how nice it is if it doesn't fit your guitar.Really disappointed, add proper information as to what years this will fit so that others won't be disappointed as well.

Fit my 02 CIJ Jaguar perfectly.

Does not fit my Japanese Fender Jaguar. Guard would need heavy modification to make it work. Tortoise pattern looks nice.
