    Pretty Good

Look nice but these are not $200 pickups so keep that in mind the sound good but not great. If you looking for a heavy metal sound these are not for you but for the price they work great

Look great, and sound great. Very pleased.

I think these sound really great - I put them in an inexpensive (Firefly) guitar and they sound much better than the originals (I have several FF guitars - and some of them sound fantastic with the stock pups, and some... not so much). Anyway - these are great - no noise, and great for metal and sound nice clean as well. Very pleased. And the black covered ones look great in my Red Blood Burst guitar...

What a great set of pickups! I got the chrome medium outputs and they are awesome in the guitar I put them in.

good luck stripping the wire. I am not even sure there are 2 wires as Ive tried EVERYTHING!

i have done everything I can think to do, tried stripping it every which way, but I CANNOT find a black hot wire ANYWHERE IN THE WIRING, and I am out of wire to keep trying. Not my first go round putting pick-ups in. I think something is wrong with it. WHY WHY WHY don't you send the pickups with 2 wires out for easy access?

    Works better without the cover

Update:I've been having a hard time finding a home for these pickups. I tried them in a few different guitars with no luck. While the neck pickup sounded fine, the bridge is very underwhelming, dark and muddy sounding. I decided to remove the cover for the bridge pickup and it improved the tone TREMENDOUSLY. In fact, the pickup sounded a lot like Seymour Duncan JB humbucker now. It's so close that I could barely tell the difference. The bridge pickup without the cover now sounded more alive with more midrange bite and more clarity between notes even through high gain distortion.Switching between the neck and bridge sounded more coherent like they are more of a matched pair. I plan on getting a few more of these pickups to out in my other guitars. Highly recommended!Previous review:The pickups do have pretty high output and push amps very well. They're great for high-gain amps that are overly bright. The tonal response for these pickups are a bit disappointing. Despite being Alnico 5 magnets, they don't have the high end content that I would expect from this type of magnets. The bridge pickup has a lot of midrange honk despite using 500k ohm pot. Using 300k pot might help to tamp down the midrange honk but you would compromise the high end content. If you plan to use the pickups with no volume pot, you will get a lot of midrange response like a wah pedal is left on. So if you plan to get these pickups, you'll have to use 500k pots but nothing higher. The pickups can be coil tap. The neck as a single coil sounded okay with a nice throaty growl thanks to the higher output. The single coil mode in the bridge sounded okay but nothing to write home about. While these have high outputs, they're nothing exciting compared to other pickups with the same type of magnets. They are okay to use as long as there's a wider option for you to tweak the tone and frequency response on your amp. I firmly believe that great tone should start with the guitar and therefore with the pickups. These are fine, but unfortunately they're not the best.

    Electrónica muy decente

Si piensas en lo que cuesta y lo que te dan... Es una electrónica muy correcta. Bien fabricada, sumergida en cera y con un buen acabado.Es lo que buscaba.
