Not too shabby. Give 'em a try.

I was asked to review this as an Early Reviewer. For some reason they asked me to rate "sheerness", "stretch" and "thickness". I don't know why those are metrics for this product, and I won't try to comment on them though for giggles I gave these pots high scores for all. What I can comment on is stuff I've tested. The pair I recieved were pretty tight to the rated value (slightly hotter than 500k) and consistent with each other. The switch mechanism feels pretty decent and should last a while if not abused. In terms of rotational drag, it feels akin to any decent potentiometer like a CTS or a Bourns. It's of an equivalent size to a Bourns push-pull, and like a Bourns it is the 18 tooth "coarse" or "metric" spline.I took a chance on these instead of a push-pull Bourns because the preferred knob in this project is a Jazzmaster style witch hat which doesn't lend itself as easily to being pulled as it would to being tapped.

    Just right

Installing these was easy enough, with time, patience, and a steady hand it was done. No scratching sounds with volume swirls any more. They both work great. I had the push pull volumes, that sucked, push push is great. How sweet it is.

I actually like these better than the CTS pots they replaced.

I had some CTS pots and screwed up the initial wiring. Because CTS pots use a PCB instead of the standard lugs, they were VERY difficult to solder and get all the connections right. These were much easier to solder and I didn't need to translate standard wiring guides that show the six-lug configuration to the CTS staggered PCB holes.

    Got the job done

This was to replace a noisy push/push, pot in a 1985 Ibanez Roadstar RS110. I was unable to find a push/push potentiometer with the exact configuration of the original but took a chance on this. It is configured in this application for volume and humbucker splitting. It got the job done. It has the coarse knob knurling that let me use the original guitar knobs. It is a bit taller than the original bit fit into the guitar body just fine. Operation was smooth and noiseless. The lower 6 lugs were difficult for me to solder because of the tiny size and my low quality soldering iron (and skill). The push/push action was different than the original as well. Decent replacement for a hard to find part.

    Push push dpts very good.
