    Great pickup for the price!

    Bought this pickup for my rat rod project SG. Shipping took a while, and tracking wasn’t very well updated, but it did eventually come in. Installed it, and was very well pleased with the quality for the price. Very well made. Very responsive, and well balanced. Does lack some higher frequencies, but that’s actually common with hotter, and higher wound pickups. At 16k it is pretty hot. Would definitely buy again.

    These do not sound remotely close to genuine X2N

    For those hoping these are a cheap alternative to genuine DiMarzio X2N, look elsewhere. I was curious how close they could sound and compared to both the 1995 and 2016 X2N pickups I have, they failed to capture ANY of the elements of the real thing. Not worth the $40 and definitely not worth the time it took to install.
