    No longer made in Korea

Seems the same quality, but made in PRC. Knocking off a star because the ad copy said Korea.

The set screw for the tremolo bar does not work

The set screw that is supposed to hold the handle does not grab on to the threads (see pictures). Both, the set screw, and the drill hole, seem to have the proper threads but the set screw will not stay in place. I also find the location of this set screw is very awkward: Once the bridge is installed, it is impossible to adjust this screw. On a positive note, I like the fact that the intonation screws are metric (M3). However, I don't understand why anybody would use cheap Philips heads for these screws. They need to be replaced with hex sockets, which can be done as a cheap DIY upgrade.Unfortunately, without working set screw this will be a return item and I will be looking for a bridge that has a better design for attaching the handle

    Super comfortable.

I installed this trem on my Telecaster Deluxe. Truth be told, I keep my trem decked and I rarely ever even put the arm in it. What I love about it are the round contoured edges of the body that come up along the sides of the saddles. Makes for a super comfy place to rest your hand. And, the saddle height adjustment screws all ended up sitting below flush with the tops of the saddle blocks. So no screws to chafe the side of my hand either. My Tele is as comfy as a Cadillac now.

Well worth every dollar for an outstanding tremelo system.

Well, I didn't know what to expect when I replaced the original vibrato on my foreign made Fender Stratocaster clone with this very sturdy quality part. I knew it was 54mm wide vs. the old school 52.5 mm unit on my guitar. I wasn't sure if the strings would slip off the sides or run out of room on the neck, but after mounting the unit with the supplied hardware, my concerns were put to rest. Not only does it fit beautifully, the larger block seems to give it more sustain. The fingering of chords are also easier vs. the older unit as my fat fingers don't seem so scrunched together. This Wilkinson unit is just beautifully made and brought my old guitar back to life. I just love it. I can't say enough good things about it. The plug in tremelo arm makes life easier too.

its seems to be well built

this trem was used to replace one on an old guitar from the 80's that i rebuilt for a friend , it seems to be pretty heavy duty. The fact that the mounting holes for the screws are oval and allow for the trem to fit more than one screw hole spacing was the main reason we chose it secondly the fact that it has the thicker base and modern saddles was the determining factor, I rated it a 4 because let's face it it's not Floyd Rose ...and i'm not talking about the 15$ licensed ones .. as far as long term performance that remains to be seen ...
