Perfect fit !

First off I have purchased several Musiclilly pickguards for Stratocasters and Telecasters through Amazon in the past two years. All of them worked out great, so much so that I was ordering this brand confident that these would work well. Well, not this time.The mounting screws did not line up with existing holes -- many were way off. The neck slot had to be filed down and the holes for the bridge mounting cups weren't even close. The holes for the volume and tone pots had to be enlarged.I was able to make it for with several modifications that are fortunately hidden by other hardware -- but I wasn't happy. Musiclily needs to do better than this.

I originally ordered a white one, but hadn't gotten to use it on the project I had. Came across a different Jazzmaster and decided parchment would be a better color for it. The parchment guard was all wrong no matter what I tried. Not a single screw hole lined up, the pickups wouldn't fit no matter what, and the bridge was set back about a half inch from where it needed to be. I used the white because it's what I had and returned the parchment. Ymmv

Pickguard quality was okay but openings for the pickups was cut too small. Going to take a lot of filing to use this.

As advertised - although a little hard to see the true colour. Well priced and came with hardware (screws) which I wasn't expecting.
