I really like the pick guard.But I was disappointed to find it won't fit the Donner DJC 100072 Fender thinline guitar. It's close but no modification will make it work

I haven't used it yet but is a exact copy of the one that I am taking out. It's a project to change the wide range humbuckers to normal PAF humbuckers. Is beautiful and made of good quality. I can't wait to use it.

The Squire Classic Vibe 70s thinline telecaster comes with Squire branded wide ranging humbuckers. WR Humbuckers are larger than standard covered Humbuckers and require a different pickup cutout. Likewise, WR Humbuckers use a four screw system where most standard Humbuckers use two for each Humbucker. If you wish to upgrade a Squire CV 70s thinline tele to standard Humbuckers, this pickguard will work. If you wish to use the same WR Humbuckers, this will NOT work.I decided to install some SD Seth Lovers that I had sitting around. This pickguard works perfectly for that. The holes line up perfectly and the pickup cutouts are the correct size. I highly recommend this product for that application.My guitar is the Squire CV 70s thinline telecaster made of soft maple in a natural finish. There is a special run of this guitar in antique white. It SHOULD work for that one too but I can't be certain. Use the measurements provided to verify.

The pickguard has TWO LAYERS of protection film. I thought it was defective after removing film. I wrote to the company and they informed me there were two layers. I had to modify guard to fit an old Hofner and had no problems with the pickguard in modification.Highly recommended!
