Most holes don't line up with the jazz body holes but it could just be there are different versions of jazz bass with different hole locations (though I've never had an issue buying a pickguard for a jazz bass before).Perhaps an issue with the hole placement but where the pickguard meets the neck pocket there's a bit of overhang which will cause a placement issue with the neck as the pickguard can't lie flat and be screwed in with the existing holes.The pickguard looks nice in matte black but it definitely leaves finger prints as you can see in my picture and this thing definitely doesn't have any protective coating because I can already see how easy it will scratch.

It fits perfectly and looks amazing. There is no difference between Giants 'real' Fender pickguard and these. Just make sure you know what bass you have and pick the right one.

Fits my MIM Fender Jazz bass well. The notch is perfect for me as it allows me to use a long shaft screwdriver to adjust the in-heel neck truss rod. Installation is easy providing it fits your screw hole alignment. The build quality is fine, especially at this price you can just replace it a couple more times for the price of one Fender branded pickguard, making it a great value for the price. It looks fine, doesn't come off as some obviously cheap pickguard.
