The pickup is surprisingly well made.I installed it as a neck pickup in my Thinline CV with Seymour Duncan Vintage stack in the bridge and they complement each other great. I had to modify the pickguard and do a tiny rout in the pickup cavity to be able to fit in the wiring coming out from the bottom of the pickup. I use 500K pots. It does not sound muddy at all and it has a great, punchy sound. It is extremely quiet and just slightly warmer than the regular tele pickup.Absolutely recommend. It sounds like a boutique pickup for 1/5 the price!I might use these pickups for other projects.

    Great for Clean Tones

I used this pickup in the neck position of my super-strat style guitar. There is no annoying noise, and the tone is punchy and clear. Especially worked well for clean tones. I would recommend.

    This is a great pickup!

This is a great pickup! Used in a short scale Bronco-type bass. It is strong and clear. Using with 250k pots. Includes a great wiring diagram and the packaging is very nice. Well protected and includes 2 sets of screws. 2 are tapered to fit a pick guard that has countersunk holes and 2 for a pickguard that does not have countersunk holes. This pickup is so good that I thought I had my pre-amp pedal on but I didn't.
