I liked it because I knew the hole for the whammy bar would be lined up with the brass block. I also liked the fact that the holes didn't line up with the existing holes on my strat style guitar body. I went to the local hardware store and bought wooden dowel rods and I drilled the existing holes to size, and I used high quality wood glue and let it set up for a couple of days. Sanded it all off smooth and then centered the bridge and drilled new holes for the 6 mounting screws.

Product feels well-constructed. I have a problem with one of the threaded adjustable posts. The post is stuck in the saddle, and the supplied tool is not strong enough to remove. I like that there are plenty of different sized threaded posts supplied to make the correct height adjustment, but I need to be able to remove the current post or get it to the proper location. Disappointed! It would be nice to get a replacement saddle.

Excellent quality

It was installed on a 2000 Fender Corona California, the holes of the 6 screws of the bridge do not match the original Fneder, I had to modify the bridge with a CNC to open the hole measurement more and be able to make it fit, said Fender guitar came with a Vintage model bridge, but I also presented it on a Fender with a normal bridge and the holes did not fit, the quality of the core is very good and dense, the finish is good both the Chrome and the Saddles the only drawback is that if you want to install it on a Fender guitar you will have to do metallurgy with the original bridge holes.

Perfect fit for what I needed it for and better quality than I expected!
